One of the very cool things that Roger's mom did for her kids was to save some of their clothes from childhood(in beautiful condition, I might add). It is so cool to pull out these clothes and imagine Roger and his sister wearing them as kids, years before I would ever meet them. Seeing Roger's favorite Star Wars T-shirts quickly turn into Ethan's favorite T-shirts(and maybe Ezra's favs some day) is even cooler. Above are photos of Opal and Dora wearing two dresses from Roger's sister Jennifer's childhood wardrobe. I LOVE these dresses. When the girls are done with them, I am hoping to to keep them(as well as a few other newer favorites) and pass them down to the girls when they are grown. A little tangible reminder of the family they have come from.

I suppose that those are really strange words coming from my mouth, but I really do mean it. This summer has been one of the smoothest and most pleasant ones ever. Certainly not the most productive, but really one of the nicest. Weird, huh?
