Why not.
All the other cool blog kids are doing it.
But what do I have to give away?
Hmmmmm.............
My collection of single earrings that have been separated from their match?
No.
A metric ton of broken crayons?
No.
My broken microwave that was spitting fire before we decided to deem it broken?
No.
Last year's Christmas tree that is still sitting in the far corner of the yard?
No.
Isabella's umbilical cord stub that I still have in a keepsake box somewhere in the attic?
No.
I know!!!!!!!
A beautiful fine art photograph by my very favorite photographer!!!!!
The one and only........
ROGER J PORTER!
Ok......
To win a beautiful photograph ready for framing by the amazing and talented(and painfully handsome, I might add) photographer friend of mine
go to his Etsy shop
take a look around
then leave a comment
and tell me what your favorite image is on the site.
I will pick a winner at random
and the winner will get an 8x10(or 8x8 is the image in question is square) of the image they mentioned in their comment.
I will pick a winner on Sunday March 28th at 9pm.
Good luck!!!

I like Tree with Birds. I like to see a hint of a living being. It makes me feel like I am in the landscape or dreamscape of the image, instead of just looking at something.
i love the photo of the library at the monastery in Prague. the photo has great depth that draws me in like i am almost there. i also love the intricate work on the ceiling. wish i could quietly walk around and read there.
Book in the surf! Love that color blue! It would look good in the nursery I'm putting together!!! ;-)
The Mechanical Moon is my favorite, I think it really shows his skills in composition & the darkroom (digital or traditional.)
I like Blue Book and Key.. mainly because of the apt title, but the composition is also beautiful.
Oooh, it's gotta be Cherry Blossom. Totally beautiful!
Tree with Birds is my favorite. I love the sense of motion and wondering what caused them to fly away...
i'm going to go with blue book & key... something about that shade of blue...
