Keep Portland Weird Festival

"Portland is a place of passionate people pursuing interesting, and sometimes strange, pastimes. Join us for a day of discovery as a wide variety of organizations share what they do and why they do it."

That is the concept of the Keep Portland Weird Festival going on tomorrow in Portland. I am a big fan of weird and an even bigger fan of Portland so tomorrow we will be packing up the the "fab five" and heading to check it out for sure. Only in Portland would the main public library allow itself to be taken over by robots, ukuleles, Japanese anime, circus performers, and a "paranormal investigations group" all in one day? I am most excited about the clothing swap and my man-friend is most excited about the Portland Steampunk Society being there. The kids are the most excited by the fact that we will be taking the MAX there. 

  If you are a Portland type and are looking for some way to spend your Saturday afternoon I am guessing this will be a rather entertaining way to do it.
